Ten Ways to Use Lavender

  1. Diffuse or mist your pillow with lavender essential oil before sleeping to help induce a restful sleep.

  2. Use with bath salts for a relaxing spa bathing experience.

  3. Apply to wrists and/or inhale while travelling to reduce anxiety.

  4. Apply diluted to back, hands or feet of a restless/agitated child.

  5. Calm and sooth occasional skin irritations such as blisters and bug bites.

  6. Use with peppermint essential oil in your shampoo for a calming, yet invigorating scalp massage.

  7. Add to lotion for a stress relieving massage.

  8. Take 1-2 drops internally with a warm non-caffeinated beverage for relaxation and sleep.

  9. Freshen your linen closet, mattress, car or the air by spraying lavender with water in a spray bottle.

  10. Use in cooking, to soften citrus flavors, and add a flavorful twist to marinades, baked goods and desserts.
